Day 1

Today we had two speakers come in. Dan Simpson from the San Diego Zoo and Caitlyn, an expert on non-profit organizations. They both informed us really well and gave us a lot of info. After that we had a snack. w00t! Then we came back and talked about the issues we chose to help with. I chose poverty. We talked about all the issues in a group with people from every group and we had a socratic seminar on the issues. Then we went outside and ate lunch. I had Ramen soup. Yum! Then after lunch we came inside and finished the socratic seminars and moved on. Then Mr. Wagner gave us the option to either create a "Did you know?" statement to put on a poster or to make a logo for the intercession. I decided to make a logo and I made a dove(Harmony) holding a heart(Love) with a peace sign on the heart(Peace). That's pretty much all we did. Although it wasn't completely exciting today, I expect more excitement as I go through this intercession.
